Entertainment Interactive, the parent company to LectureLab Atlanta, was created by Christopher “Choo Choo Tracks” Amerson. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Christopher relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a career in the Entertainment Industry. He initially found work as a tour manager on Bow Wow’s “Price of Fame“ Tour, Promotions Director for super-producer Tricky Stewart’s Redzone Entertainment, to scenic painter and props assistant for major motion pictures and television programs such as “The Walking Dead”, “Stomp the Yard”, “We are Marshall”, Rob Zombie’s “Halloween 2”, “Vampire Diaries”, and Tyler Perry’s “House of Pain”. As a music producer, Christopher has worked with Jive Recording Artists Nivea, Petey Pablo, and T.U.G’s Jehne.

As an accomplished curriculum and program development professional, Dr. Russell has earned accolades for her graduate and undergraduate education, literature, culture and women studies courses. Her colleagues and students hail her as an inventive and energetic professor who actively engages her subject matter and her students in relevant and creative ways.

Her areas of expertise are multiculturalism, African American studies and womanism. She has studied in Ghana, West Africa and Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.

As an educational consultant, Dr. Russell provides consulting in the areas of leadership and organizational development, change management and workplace diversity. She presents scholarly papers at national conferences and serves as a panelist on myriad topics including program evaluation strategies and self-care in the workplace. Additionally, Dr. Russell is skilled in designing qualitative and quantitative data collection and evaluation instruments, non-profit grant writing and government proposal writing.

Dr. Russell’s research interests include the use of personal narratives as liberatory tools for women of color and womanist pedagogies. Dr. Russell’s first book, A Song for Miles, nurtures children’s inquisitive nature and love of music and sounds, all while teaching valuable lessons and the importance of having good character.   The App can be found on the AppStore and on Amazon.com for the Kindle. She is at work on her second App, Dream Olivia, Dream and her forthcoming book, Colored Me: Black Women Shout from the Ivory Tower, is an edited volume of narratives and poetry written by Black women who attended private, predominantly white elite secondary schools.

A native of Trenton, New Jersey, Dr. Russell attended Blair Academy for high school and received her BA and MA in African American Studies from Temple University. She holds a doctorate in Educational Policy Studies/Social Foundations of Education from Georgia State University.

Dr. Russell lives in the Atlanta area with her husband Jason and their two children, Miles and Olivia!
