Chef Zu specializes in transitional Plant Based Soul Food & Farm-to-Table Cuisine. He is also an “Urban Agriculturalist” as well as a “Holistic Nutritionist” who lectures as well as facilitates community workshops, live demonstrations and cooking classes. Chef Zu focuses on making the connection between urban agriculture and healthy eating habits in many of Atlanta’s less fortunate, underserved & low income communities.
Chef Zu of Kings Apron has formulated a totally plant based cookbook which highlights some of our most innovated vegan, gluten free & raw food recipes. “The cookbook also focuses on dishes that help with healthy detoxification as well as pineal gland decalcification and melanin production” and is due to release early 2018.
Kings Apron has facilitated innovated food programming via live demonstrations, interactive workshops and plant based cooking classes for Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta Public Library System, Kirkwood Boys & Girls Clubs, Georgia Food Oasis, Morehouse College, Fulton County Commissioner 5 Office, Carver Neighborhood Market, Frank McClarin High School, Harlem Grown, Gilliam’s Community Garden and many more non-profits, community based organizations and initiatives.
